- FARCASTER, The Shining Hyperion Way.

As you can see, this is a really simple fractal experiment ^^;
It's dedicated to HYPERION, a book written by Dan Simmons (how many of you know him?). This is my favourite book, and he's my favourite writer of course :D
A "farcaster" is a magic/techological portal that allow you to travel from world to world. I love it..! And I suggest you to read this wonderful 'tetralogy' by Simmons: a wonderful sci-fi story dedicated to worlds, wars, fantasy, religion, paganism, technology, friendship and above all... love ;)

I saw your art on [link], you know what i'm talking about, the superbly constructed Farcaster. Must be hones, Simmons is one of my favorite writers, and Hyperion one of my favorite books. When I saw your picture I said to myself, this girl knows what he's talking about, and makes hell-of-a-art. If not to much of trouble, I would like to have a bigger file. A fine jpg of your Farcaster so that I could put it on my wall. Thank you very much. Se ya.

It's just a mathematic technique :D Some equations, generated by a fractal software, are combined in curves, squares, and so on. Try Apophysis :D (you can find it on Deviantart) or UltraFractal :giggle:

I don't know. Simply I used a fractal-software named APHOPHYSIS 2.0 :D Check out the Deviantart Research Tool on top of this page. Insert the name of this software and you'll find redirect links to pages in DA which contain downloads! ;)

Nice fractal picture. :) But it would have been better with higher resolution.

And Hyperion/Endymion is my favorite book too, i just hope they will never adapt it in movie.
